      *NO* *PHONE* *IN* *THE* *KITCHEN* *PLEASE*

Do you make or receive calls in your kitchen? my name is Dr.Ademola. just 3 days ago my husband, who also is a doctor, shared the sad incidents of 6 people who where brought inti the casualty department for treating burns which they sustained while making phone calls in the kitchen with the gas burner ON. Even microwave oven or induction stoves could be dangerous.some cook with the phones pressed against the ears! please stop making or receiving calls in the kitchen. It is as dangerous as making or receiving calls in a petrol station. please don't forget to share with loved ones. If the call is very urgent , then move away from the gas by 10-12 feet and then take the call. Remember that your safety is your family's safety too.

Placards identify burqa-clad woman for govt scheme Officials involved in the  Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna  (PMAY) are facing a unique problem as many Muslim women beneficiaries of the scheme are insisting on having their pictures clicked only in a burqa. Beneficiaries, all of whom are women, are allotted an amount of Rs 1.60 lakh to construct a pucca house under the scheme. However, before releasing the payment, the beneficiary's picture has to be taken and uploaded on the  PMAY portal  along with land details. But in doing so, officials are facing resistance, especially in Muslim-dominated areas. In Dehradun, Roorkee and Haridwar, for instance, many women have objected to lifting their burqa to have their pictures clicked. OPS camp MPs petition President seeking probe into Jayalalithaa's death A delegation of AIADMK MPs owing allegiance to rebel leader O. Panneerselvam on Tuesday called on President Pranab Mukherjee and sought a probe into the circumstances surrounding the death of late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. The 12 MPs delegation, led by Rajya Sabha member V. Maithreyan, submitted a memorandum in this regard to the President at the Rashtrapathi Bhavan here. In the memorandum, they sought steps for instituting a probe, which can be a judicial inquiry or a CBI probe. It can be decided by the President, Dr. Maithreyan told reporters after meeting Mr. Mukherjee. “Ever since Jayalalithaa passed away, there has been doubts about it among party cadres and general public.
