Jyothika, G.V. Prakash to star in Bala's next




After his 2016 release Tharai Thappatai , Kollywood director Bala is all set for his next project, Nachiyar. Actors Jyothika and G. V. Prakash have been roped in for the film whose first look poster was recently released. The music will be scored by Ilayaraaja.
Jyothika made a comeback to cinema after a hiatus with 36 Vayathinilae in 2015. Her next film Magalir Mattum is in post-production stage.

Protest intensifies against Neduvasal hydrocarbon project Ever since the announcement of hydrocarbon project at Neduvasal in Pudukkottai district, the villagers for the past eight days have erected a temporary shelter and struck with the demand to drop the project permanently. China grants preliminary approval to 38 new Trump trademarks SHANGHAI: China has granted preliminary approval for 38 new Trump trademarks, paving the way for President  Donald Trump  and his family to develop a host of branded businesses from hotels to insurance to bodyguard and escort services, public documents show. Trump's lawyers in China applied for the marks in April 2016, as Trump railed against China at campaign rallies, accusing it of currency manipulation and stealing US jobs.
